Holiday Happenings!

Hello friends and readers! Happy Holidays!

I thought I would pop on quick to let you know what’s been going on with me and what you can look forward to for the rest of the month…and into 2026!

I’m almost done with my current work in progress. Though I won’t be sending it out into the world anytime soon, it’s nice to keep moving forward in that way. It’s lovely giving Jesse and Jordan their happily ever after, and writing THE END reminds me of why I love to write. (For the curious, look for that small-town, second-chance standalone romance toward the end of 2026.)

If you’re interested in book news that doesn’t seem so far away, I’ll be releasing Wicked Games on May 15th. That book is written and the cover is in the works! Subscribe to the blog or check back for a cover and blurb reveal and ARC giveaways.

For those of you who were getting copies of my ARCs through Booksprout, I made the difficult decision not to put future books on that platform. I may try a different service, but you don’t need to join it to have access to upcoming ARCs. I always give blog subscribers a chance to download from the blog first. I also put them up on my Facebook author page and if you haven’t followed me, you should! I post snippets and sales of older titles so it’s worth a click if you hang out over there.

"christmas tree" made out of hardcover books. twinkle lights. text says book blast!

On December 26th, after all the holiday hoopla, you can look forward to a huge book blast. While you’re recovering from the merry madness that was Christmas, you’ll be able to settle in and browse hundreds of free books. I’ll be sending out a reminder post on the 26th with the link. One of my older books, His Frozen Heart, will be included.

Here’s Pim under our Christmas tree. We’ve been lucky and so far she hasn’t tried to climb it, only sleep under it. If your cat likes to climb your tree, let me know! I love to see pictures and hear the stories.

That’s all I have for now. Enjoy the holidays and remember to take care of yourself too.

A few weeks ago the Northern Lights swept across Minnesota, and my sister, daughter, and I drove out of the city hoping to see them. We were lucky and caught faint glimpses. Here are a few pictures that I was able to take with my phone.

That’s all I have this time around. I hope you have a wonderful holiday with friends and family. Stay safe traveling and grabbing those early Christmas deals!

Until next month,

Fall Reads & Road Trips: October Update 🍂

Happy October! There’s been a lot going on in my corner of the world and I thought I would pop into your inbox and say hey!

Last Sunday my sister, daughter, and I went on our yearly road trip to Maplewood State Park near Pelican Rapids, Minnesota. It was a lovely drive and the temperatures were just right. The trip actually did double duty, though I didn’t know at the time. One, to get out of the city to look at the leaves as it’s peak leaf-viewing season here, but two, driving through Pelican Rapids was something I needed but didn’t know I needed until I did it, if that makes sense. I’m working on a new book right now and it’s set in a small, northern Minnesota town. The vibes of Pelican Rapids fit just right. The quiet Main Street, the schools, the tiny fire department. It will be a perfect backdrop for my angsty contemporary romance. They also had a giant pelican statue (his name is Pete) that probably won’t make it into my book, but he was fun to look at just the same.

Loss and Damages has been out for three weeks, and the launch has been great! I’ve been getting really lovely feedback from all who have read it so far. If you grabbed an ARC, now would be the perfect time to leave a review. I appreciate your time and willingness to share! 💕

You can find it here:

white text on dark red flowers:
“Hello. Can I help you?”

Her voice does funny things to my cock. I know it’s Jemma Ferrell before I turn my gaze away from the teacup, and it only took those two seconds for the words to leave her mouth for me to fantasize about fucking her. Her lips to my ear, begging for more as I’m buried so deeply inside her I can’t think about the next deal.

That would be quite an accomplishment.

Keeping my head in bed.

Loss and Damages

I’ve decided to release Wicked Games in May of 2026! I know that’s a bit of a wait, but I wanted to give you a heads up. I’ll be doing the cover reveal, ARCs, and all that good stuff here, so be sure to subscribe if you haven’t or bookmark this site to check back.

Wicked Games is a standalone Billionaire romantic suspense, and I can’t wait for you to meet Seth and Avery!

That’s all I have for this month. I hope you’re having beautiful fall weather wherever you are!

I’ll check back with you soon.

Loss, Love, and What’s Next: A New Release Announcement!

I’m sorry you haven’t heard from me in a bit! Life has been a little crazy with my day job and I’ve picked up an editing project that’s been taking most of my free time.

Despite being busy, the launch of Loss and Damages has been going great!

I want to thank everyone who entered the Goodreads giveaway! 1,672 people entered and it made me feel really good that so many people want to read about Dominic and Jemma.

One reviewer said: “this thrilling story had me all caught up in the drama.” So if you like stories with trauma bonding and found family, then I think you might love Loss and Damages! Grab it on Kindle, in Kindle Unlimited, or Paperback.

As for what’s next…

I’ve decided that I’m going to release Wicked Games in May 2026! I know that seems far away but I want to pace myself so I can write another book and also have time to send out ARCs.

I’ve seen a lot of readers say they don’t get enough notice so I want to make sure you all have plenty of time to read, savor, and review!

Wicked Games is written and mostly edited already! The time buffer is just in case things don’t go the way I want. (And if everything does go smoothly, I’ll happily move the release date up.)

Thank you again for all the love you’re giving Dominic and Jemma. This launch for Loss and Damages has been one of the best I’ve had and I couldn’t have done it without you!

End of Summer Update (and a Goodreads Giveaway)

Happy Labor Day Weekend!! I have no idea where the summer went, but I can’t lie. I’m looking forward to some cooler weather. I didn’t get done nearly as much as I wanted to, but that’s okay. I’ve been pretty busy with book stuff even if it doesn’t feel like I’ve made much progress. I’ve actually been polishing up a couple of my older books, and if you’re in the mood for a happily ever after that has fall vibes, Rescue Me might just be what you’re looking for. It’s available on Kindle, in Kindle Unlimited, and Paperback. https://www.amazon.com/Rescue-Me-Billionaire-Standalone-Romance-ebook/dp/B0BGT13LPR

Since I’ve been working on getting Loss and Damages ready to go and dusting off some of my older titles, that means I’m really itching to start writing again. I can’t wait to start working on a new book, and that’s what I’ll be doing for the rest of the year. I’m excited because that means I’ll have two books out next year–Wicked Games, a small town romantic suspense, and Bitter Love, a small town second chance. Both are standalones, something I’ve been enjoying writing lately.

So, bookmark this website or sign up to the blog for cover reveals, ARC signups, and more!

Enjoy the holiday!

Here are a few quick details:
Standalone or Part of a Series: Loss and Damages is a standalone billionaire romance with a happily ever after. It’s a complete novel at around 350 printed pages.

Triggers: None that I know of. Dominic deals with some family drama/trauma, and Jemma gets roughed up while trying to stop a break-in, but nothing graphic or prolonged.

Where to Review: Amazon and Goodreads are best, since Loss and Damages will be in Kindle Unlimited. If you want to share on social media too (Instagram or Facebook), that’s awesome but not required.

What to Say: Whatever you want! If you loved it, say so. If it wasn’t your thing, that’s okay too. I really don’t mind. Honest reviews help future readers find books they’ll love.

Thank you all for picking up a copy and giving it a read. I hope Loss and Damages is a lovely part of your summer relaxation!

Bonus reminder:
If you’ve read my King’s Crossing serial and haven’t left a review yet, now’s a great time. Even a few quick lines for one or two books will help other readers find it.

One last thing: We got a new cat named Pim! My son’s friend moved out of state and couldn’t bring her along, so we made the arrangements with our property management and adopted her! She’s adorable and loves being carried around on your shoulder. It’s been really nice to have a cat around again. 🐾

I hope everyone is doing well and that your summer so far has been full of friends, family, and good reads.

Fridays and Freebies: A Little Bookish Boost

Now that I have your attention, I just wanted to pop on here quick to tell you a couple things before your weekend starts! I don’t have big plans… I work Saturdays and Sundays so I can have Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays off. I think it’s a fair trade since no one likes getting up on a Monday morning and having to go to work. I’m lucky I work at a job that allows me to do that, and I have never taken it for granted.

Tonight I’ll be be editing Loss and Damages (oh, the glamorous life of a writer… but at least I’ll be in my pajamas and I have ice cream!) and going to bed early. Breathing just wipes me out, but there’s nothing better than working on my book for a couple hours in silence before going to bed.

My friend Melody is looking for ARC readers for her storm-chasing novel aptly titled, Into the Storm. It’s the fourth book in her Storm Series, but it can absolutely be read as a standalone. Here’s the blurb:

He chases tornadoes, but he only wanted to catch her…

Storm chaser Austin Jones loves an adrenaline rush. With his YouTube channel gaining popularity and an opportunity to chase tornadoes on television, he’s living the dream. When a close encounter with a twister sends him to the hospital, the last person he expects to stitch him up is his high school sweetheart. Seeing her again feels like fate.

The storm that shattered Lizzie James’s life may be long gone, but the damage was never repaired. After a tornado tore through her hometown—taking her parents and destroying everything—she swore she’d never go back. Haunted by nightmares and burdened by anxiety, she’s done her best to forget that day. But when her former boyfriend ends up in her ER, the memories she buried come rushing back.

Despite every instinct telling her to stay away, Lizzie finds herself back in Texas—where Austin is eager to remind her of what they once had. But his reckless devotion to storm chasing is a risk she cannot ignore. Determined to control the situation—and maybe protect Austin from himself—Lizzie makes a bold choice. She’ll face her fears, literally, and join Austin for the chase. If she can’t stop him from risking his life, at least she can help keep him safe.

As another violent tornado threatens the region, Lizzie has a sinking feeling that Austin is about to make a dangerous call. This time, the real storm is the one inside Austin—torn between chasing the next tornado and holding on to the woman he loves. Because some storms you chase…and others you have to weather together to find out what really matters.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, here’s the Google form to be on her ARC team:

If you’re reading this blog post, you know the link is on my Subscribe page, but you can give it to a friend if you haven’t downloaded it yourself. The giveaway has a value of $100.00 USD, so you don’t want to miss out. Here’s the link to MY form to fill out if you want to enter! It ends Monday, May 26th, and I’ll draw a name Tuesday, May 27th.
